What do you think when you walk into a Church Inner West

The main aim of a Church Inner West is not to fulfil a quota. It is basically to fulfil the expectations of God. In certain ways, those expectations vary from one local body to another. But it also seems quite fair to say that a Church should definitely have the goal of reflecting its local culture and community. Not because it needs to, but also because it exactly wants to. Thus, as we move forward, it’s very important for us to understand that our move towards the multicultural Christian communities are not something that we attain as we’re forcing them but mainly because we realise about the force that it contains.
It begins with the church being just like the neighbourhood. But, if at all possible, it is very good to be a lot more diverse than the neighbourhood.

It also affirms value of diversity which God as developed. It states that we aren’t satisfied to just be around the people just like our own selves. We expect the missionaries to be engaged in the partnerships with different cultures. But, our mission begins in our community itself. Thus, we need to go even when the going is Jerusalem.

Become an understanding and welcoming community
One of the most important things that we need to recognise is dynamics of gathering or the congregation of the people.

What exactly the person is hearing, thinking or seeing while he is walking into the church?
The very first thin which most of the people who while walking into the church and looking around is to ask if there is anyone else in the church that is just like him. This is the most natural question.
